K show is the world’s No. 1 trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry. The exhibition is held every three years in Düsseldorf, Germany, and showcases the latest developments in plastics processing technology and machinery. K was first held in 1909 as an international exhibition of leather goods, footwear and associated industries. In 1912 it was renamed Kunststoffe (plastics) and in 1913 it became known as Kunststoffe International (KI).

K has evolved into one of the most important exhibitions for industrial products and technologies that are used worldwide today − not just for plastics, but also for rubber, metalworking and electrical engineering.
