china supply chain reshaped after pandemic

Image
In recent years, the way in which China goes about its business has been rapidly changing. In particular, the country's supply chain has been undergoing a major transformation. This is largely due to the fact that China is now facing stiffer competition from other countries in the global marketplace. As a result, Chinese companies are increasingly looking to streamline their operations and become more efficient. One of the most notable changes has been the shift away from traditional manufacturing hubs such as Shenzhen and Dongguan. These cities have long been home to countless factories that produce goods for export around the world. However, rising labor costs and other factors have made them less attractive destinations for manufacturers. Instead, many companies are now moving to cheaper locations further inland. As the coronavirus pandemic upends global supply chains, China is seeking to capitalize on the disruption by reshaping its own supply chains. This shift i...

Why Choose China for Your Next injection molding Product?

Contract injection molding manufacturing is the process of plastic manufacturing products using a third-party supplier. This can be done through a company that manufactures products in bulk, or by contracting out the manufacturing process to a smaller injection molding company. Outsourcement has become increasingly popular due to the increased efficiency and cost savings offered by China injection contract manufacturing. Although it can be difficult to choose the right China outsourcing company, there are a few things to consider. First, decide what you need outsourced - such as manufacturing or design - and what type of services you want. Why Choose China for Your Next injection molding Product? No header found why choose Chinese injection molding contract manufacturer The advantages of using a Chinese plastics injection molding contract manufacturer include: They offer a greater level of quality and service than traditional manufacturers; these include: 1...

Tips for Choosing a Reliable China Injection Molding Supplier

Image
Tips for Choosing a Reliable China Injection Molding Supplier What Is Injection Molding An injection molding process involves the injection of molten material into a mold and then allowing the material to cool, resulting in a solid shape. It is possible to manufacture a wide range of objects using injection molding, including automobile parts, toys, and medical devices. 1.Melting The heated barrel and rotating screw is fed with material from the hopper. By heat, friction, and shear force, the material melted by the rotation of the screw is forced through a check valve to the front. 2.Injection The screw is forced forward from the back end by a hydraulic ram after having been moved forward by the shot of material at the front. 3.Cooling The tool remains closed until the plastic has completely cooled and hardened in the mould tool cavity. This is usually the longest portion of the injection moulding process. 4.Ejection The next moulding is performed ...

Common Rules for Runner Systems

Image
No matter what type of runner system you're using, there are some basic rules to keep in mind. Unfortunately, some of these requirements may conflict with each other, so you'll need to find the best compromise. runner Rule 1: Decline of pressure The pressure drop is the difference in pressure between the machine nozzle and the cavity space. This affects the length of the runners, the cross sections of the runners, and the size of the gates. The longer the runners, the smaller the cross sections, and the smaller the gates are, the higher the pressure drop will be. This means that less pressure is available to fill the cavities. The time it takes to cool the runners in a cold runner system will increase because the runners are now larger. Rule 2: Plastic inventory In order to avoid degrading the plastic within the runner system, it is important to have as small a volume of plastic as possible in the system between the machine nozzle and the cavity. This is ...

history of mold designer

Image
After the Second World War, people started using plastics more and there was a need for people who could design molds for plastic products. At first, these molds were made by artisans in tool and die maker shops. These artisans were skilled in making accurate steel tools and dies, and they often worked closely with the injection molding company (the person who would use the mold to make the product) to make sure the mold was made correctly. The molder draws a picture of how the mold should look. The boss then oversees the machinists as they make the parts for the mold. Once the mold is finished, the boss tests it to make sure it works well. These molds were usually good for the few existing plastics molding materials at the time and were satisfactory for the low productivity expected from such molds. In the past, plastics were not very good quality and could only be used for a few things. But now there are much better plastics that can be used for lots of different...
